Simon joined Progressive in 1999. Between 1995 and 1999 he was the Senior Investment Manager of the International General Investment Trust, Majedie Investments PLC. Prior to this Simon worked at Mercury Fund Managers as the Unit Trust Investment Director. Simon has extensive experience from several other positions including the London Discount Market between 1966 and 1972, then as an investment manager at Singer & Friedlander, and from 1982 to 1990 at Henderson Administration where he was closely involved with managing pension funds. |

Robert joined Progressive in 2000. Prior to this he was a Director of Quayle Munro Holdings PLC, an independent Edinburgh-based investment bank. Between 1986 until 1991 he was responsible for the management of the East of Scotland Industrial Investments PLC, an investment company that specialised in making direct unquoted investments. Thereafter Robert was a corporate finance director of Quayle Munro's merchant banking subsidiary, responsible for mergers, acquisitions and private equity transactions. He retired from a non-executive directorship of Foreign & Colonial Private Equity Trust plc in May 2009. Robert is, a Scottish Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA. |

Ross joined Progressive in 2004. Prior to this he worked for Norwich Union/Morley Fund Management for 19 years, where he was head of UK Activism, being responsible for both a specialist activism fund and traditional UK equity portfolios. Ross started his career at Norwich Union in 1984 where he managed a wide range of UK equity portfolios including launching the Norwich Union UK Equity Income Unit Trust and the Norwich Union UK Ethical Unit Trust. Norwich Union and CGU merged in May 2000 with the merged asset management businesses trading as Morley Fund Management. Ross graduated from Bristol University in 1984 with a BSc in Maths & Economics. |

Tony joined Progressive in 1997. Between 1989 and 1997, he worked for the Listing Department of the London Stock Exchange (now the UK Listing Authority within the FSA) where he progressed to Head of Compliance with particular expertise relating to investment companies. Prior to this he trained as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand and worked for the corporate finance department of Deloitte Haskins & Sells. Tony graduated from Oxford University in 1976 with a degree in Classics. |

John subsequently held senior positions within International Harvester Inc., Groupe Delalande (now Sanofi-Aventis) and Hays Plc, before founding Cavendish. |

Andrew McDonald Investment Manager Progressive Focus Management Limited

Andrew spent 11 years in stockbroking specialising in smaller companies, and was Head of Research at Marshall Securities. In 1998 he joined Montanaro Holdings where he managed a range of open and closed ended funds investing in smaller companies. In 2001 he moved to Govett Investment Management where he was responsible for UK Smaller Companies, managing the Govett UK Small Companies Fund, the Govett Strategic Trust and UK smaller companies component of pension fund mandates. He left Govett in January 2004 after the sale of the Govett funds to Gartmore. Andrew joined Parkfield Capital LLP as a partner in 2005 and managed the CF Parkfield UK Smaller Companies Fund (now the CF Progressive UK Smaller Companies Fund) from its launch in February 2006. He joined Progressive Asset Management in January 2008.
